HAPPY DREAM IT! DO IT! DANIGIRL! DAY! FEB 16th;)
"Power of 16, THE NUMBER OF LOVE and WISDOM," We talked about this, and everyone knows that my birthday is on the 16th as well as some very powerful awesome people I have always been influenced by. Isn't that ironic.;)
.......and just like the love and wisdom water giver Aquarius that I am......... EVERYONE IS A GETTING BRIGHT BRAND NEW CAR!!!!!! LIKE THE OPRAH SHOW...YOU GET A CAR!..AND YOU GET A CAR! HAHA!(JOKE)....I guess like Oprah, on my Birthday Month, which is also two days after Valentine's Day, I am all about GIVING BACK! and GIVING UP! or PULLING AND LIFTING YOU UP!!!;)
So my gift to you, for my birthday is that I wish everyone higher levels of living a truly love filled, fun, adventurous life..;) I hope all goals are accomplished easy and effortlessly, as we all grow into knowing, like the Beatles song, "Love is all we need.;)" and we all do need each other.
Dream it! Do it! Danigirl, Do what you LOVE, and LOVE what you do!
Because the LOVE is the only thing that's gonna carry us through;)
Furthermore, since February is also Black History Month, we always get to take the time to reflect on how far we have come as a people. I always enjoy how reflecting on our history alone can lead us to then accept and decide to continue to make progress for more.
For instance, two years ago, I danced at an event at UC San Diego called, "Generations have come, Generations to go." I thought to myself what a title, Generations have come, Generations to go;)
For when I think of that, I think of all that was done, by my ancestors and those that came before me like Fredrick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Josephine Baker, Sammy Davis jr. Michael Jackson, and many more Black Inventors and powerful leaders that made a difference before my time....Ironically, those that came before us have something all in common......The only way they could succeed was to make a difference because they didn't have the rights we have today. For instance, Bessie Colemen, who became the first Black woman aviator, had to fight through racism in the US and get her pilots license in FRANCE, in a time when Women nor African Americans could get to vote let alone a pilot's license. Now, that's what I call "Defying Gravity"..... Also, just sitting back and reflecting on Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou, Martin Luther King and Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, bring shivers to my spine, and I become overjoyed with inspiration from their Historical Strides.
It's then that I always feel then like an invisible torch has been passed down to me whispering, "It's now your turn." But it's not just me. There are other's out there. Other's I may or may not know. And Together it is OUR turn now, OUR turn to make a difference and OUR turn Move Generations forward. SO HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY;) Black History month, Valentines Day, Birthdays, and Carnaval Mardi Gras Celebrations in February ....Let us all Celebrate each other and may you too become inspired by a saying I said one Christmas morning, "HERE IS TO THOSE THAT NOT ONLY FOLLOW AFTER, BUT TO THOSE THAT ALSO TAKE THE TORCH AND FOLLOW THROUGH;)"
